Cree (LLF) LR6 12 watt retrofit downlight recessed light LED bulb. It's finally here. A bulb which is efficient, gives wonderful light, is actually safe for the environment while being dimmable- all while not having to sacrifice color quality, cost or safety. Made to easily fit into a standard 6" recessed can. Simply remove your existing trim and bulb, then replace with this unit.
This fixture is 50% more efficient than fluorescent and 80% more efficient than incandescent lighting. With a 50,000 hour life span, you are looking at over 20 years of life. There is no poisonous Mercury to deal with. So you'll not have to worry if a bulb breaks or cracks. And there are no special recycling issues either. Not only is each bulb saving you hundreds of dollars in electrical savings, but commercial areas will save even more money due to the non existent maintenance needed for this bulb.
Available in two color temperatures- warm white (2700K) and cool white (3500K). Warm white gives more of an incandescent/ warm color. It is best used for virtually all residential and commercial applications. Use the cool white if you have a specific needs for a more neutral color temperature (such as display lighting). Notice that you cannot see the individual LED elements.
Trim and bulb are one unit. The trim has an inner ribbed baffle. Optional trims (with smooth inner baffles) are availble in different colors. See below for options.
